In 2014, the It’s Humanity Foundation introduced its livelihood program known as ‘Protibha,’ which translates to ‘Talent’ in Bangla. This initiative was designed not only to provide training and market access for women in disadvantaged rural and suburban areas, enabling them to showcase their craftsmanship, but also to establish an additional source of income for their families. The overarching objective is to empower these women to earn supplementary income, thereby reducing the necessity for their children to become child laborers.
Protibha stands as a symbol of hope, ensuring a sustainable income stream for these women within their own communities. This strategic approach lightens the financial burden on students, affording them the opportunity to concentrate on their education rather than having to work at a young age.
“I am very surprised that the birth certificate can be digitized so quickly from the municipality. I will also inform other family members and neighbours to do birth certificates from Protibha Knowledge Center because this is very easy here and also we are not charged any additional amount”

We choose ‘It’s Humanity’ as the name of our project for all the above meanings; to us there was no other better way to express our vision for the project. If we can make a difference in one child’s life, that is one step towards change, that is one child our future has invested in, this is one wrong or imperfections in this world we have put right.
